R.I.P. The 1UP Show, 1UP Yours podcast, and EGM magazine... →

I absolutely LOVED the 1UP.com podcasts.  I watched The 1UP Show every single week, and any new episode of 1UP Yours always took the top spot in my morning commute to work.  (I liked the new LAN Party podcast a lot as well — it was shortlived but very entertaining.)  I even had a lot of respect for EGM magazine, but it’s understandable that they had to be shut down as the print market dies its slow and unfortunate death.

I’m really sad to see them go.  I hopehopehope that one of these days the 1UP Show and 1UP Yours people end up making their own shows and be successful in their own endeavors, ala Tech TV and all the various audio and video podcasts that emerged from them.
