It’s been swell
So… it looks like I’ll be moving to New York.
I talked it over with my family this past week, and I’m really glad that they’re supportive about it. I was presented with a great opportunity within the AIM design team, which included a higher salary and a chance to live in the city — something I’ve always wanted to do. I couldn’t pass it up.
It’s an incredibly quick change (and a big one at that), but I know it’s worth it. I’ll be moving at the end of June, and I’ll be there for two years. After that, we’ll play it by ear. I could possibly go back to Dulles, or stay in NY for longer. The good part is, I’ll be commuting to Dulles about once every couple months to touch back with my team, so I’ll still get a taste of Nova every once in a while.
If you’re in the Nova/DC area, I want to see you. Even if we haven’t talked in a while, I would definitely like to have dinner or hang out, so we can catch up.
Life has a crazy way of creeping up on you…
