Chicago Trip
Finally got around to putting this video together! A little sibling vacation in August. Such a fun trip — so much to see/do/EAT! Also one of the most beautiful cities I’ve been to, by far.
“Thug Story” by Taylor Swift ft. T-Pain
Wow, I did not know this existed. Is it weird that I like it?
#teamtaylor ;)
John Stockton, my favorite player of all time, has been inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. I can’t explain how happy that makes me! It’s stupid, I know, but that man is my hero. I hope I’m lucky enough one day to shake his hand. Congratulations sir, you deserve it.
Oh, and Michael Jordan was inducted too.
“Fireflies” by Owl City
Caught wind of Owl City via Jess Bowen of The Summer Set. Played this song for a solid week! It’s like Postal Service but much happier and poppier (and you know how I love my pop). Or even better, as Tim puts it, the male equivalent of Lights. He’s so right.
This is by far my favorite slot machine in all of Atlantic City. Soooooo much fun. (Doesn’t hurt that I won too… hehe) Overall I did pretty well during this lil family reunion trip! First time ever I’m walking out of the casinos on the positive. Go me! :)

Michael Jackson & Cookin’ Soul, “Rock With You” feat. Notorious B.I.G.
One of my favorite tracks from the tribute album. Seriously, I can’t get enough of this.
I’m pretty LTTP on this, but I’m hooked on this mixtape ever since hearing it at Terro and Din’s house. Cookin Soul’s Tribute to the King of Pop, with mashups of legendary rappers with MJ’s top singles. 14 tracks for pure awesome.

I’ve sort of fallen in love with Chicago. How can you not with this view? Ending our trip with a fantastic sunday brunch at the Hancock building.
Chicago is such a beautiful city. View of the skyline from outside the Shedd Aquarium.
